OPERATION "PRIMARY SWITCH"

If you want to help change New York City politics,  you MUST register as a Democrat and vote in the Democratic primaries!

To vote in June 2021 Democratic Primary change of party enrollment must happen by February 14, 2021!

New York State law requires voters to register as members of the party for which they wish to vote in primary elections.  There is no such requirement for the general election.  Because you may vote for either party in the General Election regardless of how you are registered, there is no reason not to exercise your influence in the Democratic primaries, which arguably determine the fate of the New York City elections.

The goal of Operation "Primary Switch" is to enroll Republicans, Independents and unregistered Moderates as Democrats so that they may vote in and impact the outcome of the Democratic primaries.

This is extremely important if, like New Yorkers United for Change, you want to see change in NYC politics and remove the far left elements from the slate!

Apart from the critical mayor’s race there will be many City Council seats open in 2021 due to term limits.  Each and every one of these races is important and we must vote as registered Democrats to ensure that rational, moderate candidates win their respective primaries.  The only way to do this is by coming out to vote in Democratic primaries and eliminate the left wing radicalism that has begun to define the Democratic Party in NYC.

Ranked-Choice Voting Is Coming!

Ranked-choice voting is coming to New York City in the next primaries. This change will further affect how primary votes are counted.
